We look foward to another fabulous year and wish our teams good luck in the 2012/13 Season - there were many things to celebrate last year, once again showing that Town Green is not just about football!

Town Green Athletic JFC was established (originally as the 'Locomotives') in 2004.

In that time, we have progressed from one team who are in the Under 17s age group for 2012/13 Season, to having teams in age groups ranging from Under 7s to Under 17s.

The club was born out of the idea of football for all, rather than just the elite. We are very proud of the fact that we do not hold trials for our teams but accept any child who wants to play football and have fun.

Honours:

• 2011/12 our current Under 17's were  winners in the Wigan & District Div 2 League.
• 2010/11 our Girls won the Cup at Aspull; our current Under 17's Manager (& Club Chairman!!!) was awarded Coach of the Season.
• 2009/10 our Under 14's teams won the Warrington League, our Girls won the Cup at Mablethorpe; our Under 17's were runners up for the Wigan and District League 2nd Div and promoted.
• 2008/9 our Under 14's teams won the Filey Cup at Scarborough; our Under 17's won the Sporting Team award for the Wigan and District League.
• 2007/8 our current Under 14's teams won the Rainhill & St Helens league and the Anglian Cup at Great Yarmouth.
• In 2006/7 League our current U14's won the cup competition for a third consecutive trophy and our current U17's came runners up in their league and won the 'Sporting Team' award.
• 2005/6 Season saw the clubs first successes winning 2 domestic trophies (U8's and U10's) and European 'Fair Play' winners (U10's).

Boys starting Year 12 in September 2012 are eligible to play in our Under 17's.

Boys starting Year 9 in September 2012 are eligible to play in our Under 14's.

Girls starting Year 7 or 8 in September 2012 are eligible to play in our Girls Under 13's.

Boys and Girls starting Year 5 in September 2012 are eligible to play in our Under 10's.

Boys and Girls starting Year 4 in September 2012 are eligible to play in our Under 9's.

Boys and Girls starting Year 2 in September 2012 are eligible to play in our Under 7's.  

Boys and Girls up to Year 2 in September 2011 are eligible to train with our Tiny Tots.
